Our company operates within the European Union, specifically in the Republic of Slovakia. As such, we adhere to European legislation concerning consumer rights, particularly the established standards for sellers and buyers of software (digital products).

The primary legislative acts governing the rights and responsibilities of buyers and sellers are:

Directive 1999/44/EC of the European Parliament, dated 25 May 1999, addressing certain aspects of the sale of consumer goods and associated guarantees.

Directive 2011/83/EU of the European Parliament, dated 25 October 2011, pertaining to consumer rights. This directive also amends Council Directive 93/13/EEC and Directive 1999/44/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council. It further repeals Council Directive 85/577/EEC and Directive 97/7/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council.

In accordance with the aforementioned directive, a buyer is entitled to a refund only if the product is found to be technically defective and cannot serve its intended purpose.
